Before you call
Two minutes that make the recovery shorter
- Hazard lights on, wheels straight, parking brake set.
- Stay off the traffic side of the vehicle. Wait uphill of the shoulder if you can.
- Know the mile marker, exit number, or the last road sign you passed.
- Say what the vehicle is and whether it still rolls, steers and brakes.
